Hello! My name is Monica. I grew up in NJ, studied in CA, and worked in OR before moving to NH. Along the way, my partner and I welcomed three children at home, sparking my passion for supporting empowered birth in any location. I've completed Doula Training International's Slow Doula Method course, participated in Body Ready Method's Better Birth Pro intro series, and I am a NH OPLC certified Birth Doula. I continue professional development with Indie Birth and support hospital, birth center, and home births for clients in NH, ME, and MA, within about 1 hour of Nottingham, NH.
My Philosophy:
Imagine looking back on your experience knowing you made your own decisions, surrounded by kind, trusting support that believes in you and meets you where you are. I'm passionate about helping my clients prepare for the wonder of physiological birth while witnessing that each birth experience is sacred and transformational. From home to hospital, cesarean to VBAC, induction to breech, miscarriage to multiples, I support my clients as their unique journey unfolds. I advocate for them to make empowered choices and to receive care that deeply respects their autonomy and wishes.
