Meet Rachel!
Certified Birth Doula
Full Spectrum Doula and Childbirth Educator
Hi! My name is Rachel. I'm a perinatal community health worker, full spectrum doula and childbirth educator based out of the Seacoast of NH. I have a background in holistic health and herbal medicine and a real passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.
My interest in birth work began before I became a mother myself. As a nanny in my early 20s, I had the privilege of walking alongside growing families and being an extra set of hands for new mothers in those tender early months. After having my own first child in 2019, this passion for birth work really deepened for me.
I strive to provide trauma informed, evidence based support to families while they navigate the magical and transformative experiences of birth and postpartum. Whether you're welcoming your first child or your fourth, I believe you deserve compassionate, accessible support and advocacy that honors your family's unique values and goals. My hope is that you feel informed, supported, and truly cared for every step of the way.
I am always learning, and seeking to expand my skills so I can wholeheartedly help the families I serve. When not supporting other families, I am spending time with my own. I usually spend my days homeschooling and adventuring with my two little ones (soon to be three!), tending to our garden and enjoying live music and ecstatic dances whenever we can. I believe in living slowly, connected to nature and creating a home filled with creativity and curiosity.
